ReachShikhara is an online tutoring platform founded in 2026, offering premium 1-on-1 sessions for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Unlike tutoring marketplaces, we are a structured platform. We hand-pick, train, and monitor all our teachers, and personally match each student with the right teacher for their needs.
We cover all core academic subjects for Grade 1 to Grade 12, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Hindi, Social Studies, Computer Science, and more. We support CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge/IGCSE, and US Curriculum boards.
Yes, absolutely. Every single session at ReachShikhara is exclusively 1-on-1 between the teacher and your child. There are no batch sessions, no group sessions. Your child gets the teacher's complete, undivided attention for the full session duration.
Yes, 100% free. Every student is entitled to a free demo session with their matched teacher before committing. There is no payment required and no obligation. If you're not satisfied with the teacher after the demo, we find you another one, also at no cost.
Session duration is flexible and agreed upon during enrollment. Typically sessions run for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs, age, and subject. We work around what suits your child best.
Yes! We serve students globally, including India, USA, UK, UAE, Australia, and Singapore. Sessions are scheduled flexibly to suit your time zone. Payment can be made in your local currency.
Sessions are currently conducted on Google Meet, a reliable, free, and easy-to-use platform that works on any device including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. No downloads are required for students to join.
Once enrolled, parents and students get access to a personal portal where they can view session schedules, completed sessions, topics covered, homework assigned, and overall academic progress, all in one place, anytime.
We have a transparent refund policy. If a teacher misses a scheduled session, you receive a full refund or a replacement session. For pre-paid sessions, unused sessions are refundable. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific situation. We always aim to resolve issues fairly and quickly.
For Teachers
Visit our Join Our Team page and fill in the application form. Tell us about your qualifications, teaching experience, subjects, grades, and availability. Our director personally reviews every application and gets back to you within a few days.
We look for teachers with relevant academic degrees and teaching experience. A B.Ed or teaching certification is preferred but not always mandatory. What matters most is your subject knowledge, communication skills, and genuine passion for teaching. All qualifications are verified during the application process.
Yes. All sessions are conducted online via Google Meet, so you can teach from anywhere in India. You need a stable internet connection, a laptop or desktop, and a quiet environment for sessions.
Teachers are paid based on the number of sessions conducted. Payment details, schedule, and structure are discussed and agreed upon during the onboarding process and formalised in your contract with ReachShikhara.
No. ReachShikhara handles all student acquisition, marketing, and matching. You focus entirely on teaching. We take care of everything else. Students are assigned to you based on your subject expertise, experience, and availability.
